The Christmas Day is celebrated on 25 of December, when is commemorated the birth of Jesus Christ. Therefore, is a Christian party that is celebrated in countries as Peru, Mexico, Argentina, Guatemala, Finland, Belgium, Britain, France, USA... One of the main protagonists in the houses during these Christmas days is a Christmas tree decorated with lights and colour figures.The night of Saint Claus

At midnight of 25 of December the famous Saint Claus (nickname of Saint Nicholas) visits the houses to leave his presents. The history of Saint Nicholas is known by his great interest of to help the poorest children. But, the adversiting of famous brands as CocaCola transformed the much-loved Saint Nicholas in a character of North Pole that wears red suits and he has a long white beard.

Firstly, the Saint Claus was original of USA and later of England and France. In Spain every year is celebrated more. The spanish children are very lucky because the majority obtain gifts the day of Saint Claus and the day of the Three Wise Men (on 6 of January).

Christmas meal in Catalonia
In Catalonia families have dinner in the living room or dining room of their houses where one can find a beautiful Christmas tree and a nativity scene at his feet. Traditionally at Christmas meal people have:The traditional soup gelats with mince meat bowlAt the beginning, it’s typical to do a “pica-pica” with the delicious Spanish (Iberican) ham and Also with seafood, shrimps, prawns.Of desserts: "Polvorones" and "Mazapan" The drink: Champaign and cava.

For tradition, this night of December 24 they re-join every family to have dinner or according to in that family they re-join in December 25 to eat. It is a special enough day.
Also by tradition there are sung Christmas songs that call villancicos, though not the whole world is accustomed to sing them. Not only do they sing at home but also in the church.

We rent this flat:

This flat is on Earl's Court, this is a very trendy and lively part of London, a fashionable haven for film stars and media personalities.

Earl's Court is most conveniently connected to all parts of London with three major underground lines and numerous buses. The area is in the hear of Kensington & Chelsea borough.

-Flat description:

This is a small one bedroom flat with a great rear balcony on the second floor of a converted period building. This property does not currently provide with a telephone line.

The kitchen is modern and is well-equipped with washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, electric oven, a gas hob, and a dishwasher. There is a good work space provides and there is also a breakfast bar with stools.

This flat have one bathroom with limestone tiles, tub, loo, wash hand basin and a good power shower over the tub.

The reception is an open plan reception cum dining room at the front of the building overlooking a very quiet street. It has a comfortable sofa, coffee table and a set of easy chairs. There is also a contemporary drop leaf dining table with chairs. The TV is connected to a Cable providing a large selection of channels. There is also a HI- Fi and a DVD player.

The flat have one bedroom, This is a bright and airy bedroom with a double bed and good cupboard space.

For finally the flat have terrace too.

Halloween is on 31st October, it has Celtic origins.

Halloween means the day before All Saints.

In Halloween the people do traditionally dress up in costumes and make a noise, and play truck or treat. The costumes normally are witches, monsters, skeletons...

People think in Halloween yhe souls of the dead come back to Earth.

The people buy a pumpkin and drow a face.

In Hallowen we often go to a disco and the end go to a friend's houseand look horror films, for example: Scream. In the night we can't sleep. ^.^

If we had a millon euros, we were very happy. We bought a big house in the north of Catalonia. We invited the family at a luxury restaurant, because the family is veru important in the life, too. We went to a travel of the world with the friends, from visited other countries and another cultures. And we went to a comercial center to bought some clothes, wery things.

One part of this money, we give to an ONG.

The power of the world (victor) If I had a million dollars

If I had a million dollars, I would invert them in actions, the first is to live well. The benefit of these actions I would invert it in more actions up to having a much power. If I had power, I would buy a country of the third world that was rich in lands as the Congo. The Congo has the only mines of Cobalt of the world and is the country of Africa that would be might to obtain the better performance of water power. I’m gonna speak about the origin of Halloween.

Halloween is a party that is celebrated on October 31. In that holidays, people tend to do activities such as trick-or-treatening, costume parties, reading scary stories…

This was, in fact, a celtic festival called Samhain, known as the “Celtic new year”. Celtic people believed that on October 31, the boundary between the living and dead dissolved, so the dead ones became dangerous for the living ones causing illness or sickness.

When the Roman Empire arrived to celtic places such as the modern England, they incorporated symbology that was part of their Pomona parties, such as apples. The Catholic Church fixed the All Saints’ Day on November 1 to end with the pagan tradition, but this party has survived since now.

I have been looking for a nice flat in London since now. It seems that I found what I wanted.

This flat is very cozy, through it is a little small and only has one bedroom with his bathroom. The flat’s walls are painted in white and blue, has a very refreshing effect.

The price is cheap because it is in the suburb, but the street where the flat is seems very nice. As I was saying, the price is 400 euros for a week. If I was living alone here I couldn’t pay that quantity, but I am living with my girlfriend, then we are two persons paying the flat.

If I had a million dollars, I would study TCM. If I had studied TCM, I would have been a great doctor. If I had been a great doctor, I would have had a Chinese medicine clinic. After, I would invited my friends and my family to a holiday. I think that the money must be shared, because althought that a person has a lot of money cannot enjoy it alone. We would travelled to Grecia for his great history and his monuments. It would was fantastic!

But, If I got so much money I wouldn't like to spend all, because I consider that there are too many people needed in the world and they need it more than I.

But definitively... with the money we can make many caprices, but will never be able to buy the happiness, that it's the biggest caprice of the humanity.

I think that Halloween is a celebrity very important in America,

In Spain, the people aren't celebrate this date.
This Halloween, my friends and me went to the pub
and we were dancing and drinking.

A year when I was a child, my father buy a pumpkin and got a green light in. Then turned off all the lights and trying to scare me. He wasn’t get but are funny. It's the only time that I held it a bit.

Personally, I think that almost everyone celebrates more the "All Saints Day" than the "Comercial Halloween"; because it´s a tradition and is clearly more followed than a foreigner´s party.

Halloween's party

Hi friends!

Althought that it's 2 of November and it has already a bit late, I want to explain us my opinion of Halloween's party. I've never celebrated this party, and that day I don't make anything special. Halloween is original of Britain and Ireland, and althought that a lot of people of the world celebrate it, the typical party of Catalonia, for example, is "La Castanyera". I prefer to eat hot chestnuts and sweet "panellets". Mmm.. they are so delicious!

But, I'm not in opposition to those persons that celebrate this day as authentic english people, because we all are free of doing what we want.
